We are raising funds to provide healthcare aides who will assist our elders with their day-to-day needs throughout reunions, and this will also mark the beginning of a new tradition of intentional care for all of our elders who wish to attend future reunions.

For our 78th Annual 2025 Family Reunion - Honor Our Beloved Elder, Rosetta Foote

Dear Family,

As we prepare for our upcoming family reunion, I’d like to share something close to our hearts. At 93 years young, our beloved elder Rosetta Foote continues to bless us with her presence, wisdom, and love. Her life is a living testimony of strength, faith, and the enduring bonds of family.

To ensure that she can join us fully and comfortably, we are raising funds to provide a healthcare aide who will assist her with her day-to-day needs throughout the reunion. This support will not only make Rosetta’s experience more enjoyable and safe but will also mark the beginning of a new tradition of intentional care for all of our elders who wish to attend future reunions.

Our elders are the heartbeat of our gatherings. Their presence reminds us of where we come from, keeps us rooted in our history, and inspires us to carry forward the legacy they’ve built. Ensuring they are cared for during our time together is one of the most meaningful ways we can show our gratitude.
